Center further drops a bomb on Capital Funds!

Central government which is being insensitive towards Andhra Pradesh in various fronts dropped one more bomb on the state. Earlier the center agreed to allot 1580 Crore for the state capital construction as the first installment. Now the Center began to add strings to the funds and imposed a condition that it will not release the funds unless the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is ready.

However this move will further delay the state capital construction. Singapore Government will submit the Master Plan for the capital in June. The state government will call for global tenders for DPR next which will take at least 2 months later.

The center then will verify the DPR with its sources and then allot funds if everything is fine. Which means the center’s promised 1580 Crore may arrive only towards the end of the year which means the plans of having the stone breaking ceremony in June may get affected.
