Center hits new low on Polavaram!

Central government is hitting new low every day in helping Andhra Pradesh. The callous attitude is hurting Polavaram project which is considered as the lifeline for the state. It is known that Odisha government is opposing Polavaram project as some villages in their state are getting submerged due to the project.

Already there is an allegation, BJP government is ignoring the project to please BJD, the ruling party of Odisha to get their support in Rajya Sabha. And the other day, Union Water Resources Minister, Uma Bharathi announced that AP and Odisha have to solve the tussle and center will play no role in that.

Polavaram is a national project but here the center is shying from its responsibility. Already the project is going on at snail pace after the central government is not clearing the bills and the cash strapped state government could not afford the costs.
