Center Rejects AP Republic Day Tableau

Union Home Ministry had denied Permission for Andhra Pradesh’s Tableau for the upcoming Republic Day Parade. AP Government has readied the Tableau based on the theme of Vijayawada Gandhi Konda, Ponduru Khaddar, and Pallepadu Satyagraha Ashram. The Committee appreciated the design and the government then came up with 3D Design.

Even though Tableau design is better than the tableaus of other states, it was denied permission in the last minute. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu alleged Political Controversy in this decision. Things have become sour between the State and the Central Government ever since TDP walked out of the NDA Government.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be writing a letter to the Central Government expressing his dissent on this issue. This is the first Republic Day Celebration after TDP walked out of the NDA Government. In the wake of the hostility, the issue has taken Political Colour. It has to be seen how BJP leaders respond to this issue.
