Center solves water dispute between AP and TG!

Central Water Commission Chairman AB Pandya had interferred in the ongoing water tussle between Telangana and Seema Andhra. He had separate meetings on Tuesday with the Chief Secretaries of both the states and finally decided that Telangana should release 600 Cusecs water per day from Nagarjuna Sagar to Krishna Delta for the next one week. The Central Water Commission will revise it again before the completion of this one week.

It is known that Governor has sanctioned 10 TMC water from Nagarjuna Sagar to Krishna Delta during the President’s rule. But as soon as TRS is back in power, Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao had ordered the officials not to release the water with out government permission. The file was sent to KCR but it was put on hold with out taking any decision. So the center had to intervene.
