Center to announce help to AP in this session!

If the buzz in Delhi is to be believed, Central government is all set to make an announcement regarding the promised help to Andhra Pradesh during the state bifurcation. It is said that the Center has asked the state for a single proposal of various promises made in AP Reorganization Act for Petro Corridor, AIIMS, Metro Rail, funds for Capital, Special Status, Special Packages, Deficit budget etc.

Center will make a statement regarding the center’s stand on this proposal in the floors of Parliament and will be releasing the funds in various phases. With this latest instruction from the Center, State officials are busy preparing the report. This can be a very tiresome and time taking job since it needs coordination between several departments of the state.

The Center has come in to severe criticism over being mum on the promises made to Andhra Pradesh despite being in power for 6 months. If this happens in this session of Parliament, it will be a major boost to Andhra Pradesh which is toiling under various problems inflected by the state bifurcation.
