Center to announce temporary package for AP

Ahead of Jagan’s fast unto death for Special Status, Central government is gearing up to announce a temporary package worth 1100 Crore for the state. Various media reports say the package will be in the tune of 1100 Crores. In that 350 Crores will go for the seven backward districts (50 Crore each), 400 Crores will go for Polavaram and another 350 Crore for the capital construction/

This package seem to be just like an eye wash and is unlikely to bring any positivity on the center in the people. Sources the center will be making an announcement regarding the same today. This package comes after Chandrababu Naidu’s whirlwind tour in Delhi.

On the other side, experts say center may come with a Special Package for Vijaya Dasami. The Prime Minister himself is likely to announce that when he comes down to Amaravati for the the capital foundation laying ceremony. As expected. Special Status is next to impossible
