Center’s gift to Telugu States in Scorching Summer!

Here is a respite for People in the Telugu States. The Central government had decided to allocate additional power for three states – Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. This Power of about 693 Mega Watts, was originally allotted to Delhi but the state government there returned it back to the Center.

Andhra Pradesh will get major share of power by bagging 304MW. Telangana will be getting 222 MW and Kerala will get 167 MW. This move of the center will come as huge respite to the Telugu states as the power demand is constantly rising due to the high temperatures.

This move will help Telangana very much as the newest state of the country is reeling under severe power deficit. The state government is spending huge money for procuring power from private sources. With this move of the government, it can easily save good money in this summer as well as stabilize the power supply. As of now, there is no information why Delhi returned this power.
