Central Forces Deployed for State Election Commissioner’s Security

A letter allegedly written by the State Election Commissioner, N Ramesh Kumar got leaked to the media the other day. In the letter, Ramesh Kumar said that there is a severe security threat to him and his family. So, he requested the Central Government to deploy Central Forces to his security.

Ramesh Kumar did not come before the media denying writing the letter. So, there is confusion all over. But then, all of sudden, central forces were deployed at the SEC OFfice in Vijayawada. CRPF forces have taken control of the building. Ten security personnel have arrived there.

One SI, One Head Constable, and Eight Constables have arrived. The CRPF officials reportedly came from the Thirty-Ninth Battalion in Gannavaram. With the deployment of the central forces, there are speculations that the letter is indeed true. Ramesh Kumar made severe allegations against the Ruling Party in the letter.

It looks like the Central Government has taken it seriously.
