Bifurcation issue comparatively less impacted Telugu Desam Party than remaining political parties. TDP is the only party remained in both the regions. However the party is on a ventilator in Telangana region which is once a strong forte. Chandra Babu is now concentrating on party’s revival there to contain jumpings in to TRS and Congress.
Chandra Babu decided to field himself from Malkajgiri Parliament seat. He hopes that this move will boost the cadre and party there. However Chandra Babu will be contesting from Seema Andhra too. He will be fighting for Kuppam MLA seat as usual. However there will be a confusion among voters of both the regions about which seat Babu prefers in case he wins both. If Babu loses either of the seats in this confusion, it will be a black mark on his political career and also a death blow to TDP.
