Did Chandrababu do away with TDP(TS)?

It is surprising to see Chandrababu Naidu’s strategy with TDP(TS), Telangana Speaker announced the merger of 12 TDP MLAs in to TRS Legislative Party few days ago, but Naidu did not speak a word of that since then. TDP(TS) is suffering from a dearth of a credible voice. The biggest drawback of the party is missing out Naidu to AP.

Naidu’s silence at this time will further demoralize the already dejected cadre. It sends a signal that Naidu lost hope on the party or he do not care about it any more. One more angle in this is that giving free hand to Revanth Reddy over the party affairs in the new state. But even then, important events like this needs Naidu’s intervention occasionally.

TDP(TS) is facing its worst crisis in the state with back to back electoral defeats and defections. Out of the 15 MLAs the party got in the last elections, only three MLAs are left with the party after TRS’ Operation Akarsha.
