The land pooling in capital villages began on Wednesday. 27 teams are interacting with farmers and getting ‘agreement letters’ from them. Each team headed by a deputy collector is allotted for a unit of 1000 to 1400 acres. Two Tahsildars, two deputy Tahsildars and Surveyors will be part of each team. The teams were instructed to take as many agreement letters as possible by January 15th.
