The plan is to transform Amaravati into a world-class capital under Vision 2047. The aim is to create a unified and efficient administrative structure to support rapid growth and long-term development.

Chandrababu reiterated that Amaravati will remain the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh. This announcement was meant to put an end to fears surrounding the three capitals theory of the previous government.

The Union government will pass a Bill to legalise Amaravati during the Budget session. Once legal status is granted, the state will become eligible for major loans and funding support.
