Naidu Busts Sakshi Lies in Style

A Couple of months ago, Sakshi media house aired news that Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary SP Tucker is of the opinion that the Swiss Challenge Proposal of Singapore Consortium for the development of 6.84 square km start-up area in Amaravati capital city on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode is illegal.

SP Tucker is going to retire on August 31st. The state government had written to the center for the extension of his term. Center agreed and gave him a three months extension now. Tucker will continue as Chief Secretary till November 30th. Sakshi which is airing all those false stories about Tucker’s stained relation is suddenly silent.

There is no answer with Sakshi why Naidu instead of getting rid of Tucker, got him a service extension. Previous Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao retired on January 31st this year, Special Chief Secretary A.K. Parida was the most senior officer eligible to get the Chief Secretary post. But CM Naidu instead appointed Tucker as Chief Secretary.
