Naidu Can Repeat 1996

Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu met Janata Dal (S) National President HD Deve Gowda and his son, Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, in Bengaluru today. After the meet Deve Gowda addressed media and slammed the ruling NDA for being responsible for several plaguing problems including de-stabilization of the economic institutions. Deve Gowda opined that it’s the responsibility of all the Secular parties including the Congress to come together to replace the NDA government.

Naidu said that he sought blessings of Deve Gowda for the cause of saving the democracy. CM alleged that NDA’s misrule jeopardized several institutions of democracy including RBI, CBI and Supreme Court. Naidu recalled how RBI Governor wants to quit for not being able to tackle the distress of economy.

Meanwhile Karnataka CM Kumara Swamy said that Devegowda and Naidu share great friendship over years and that the meeting saw discussions on country’s future. He added that when Naidu made an entry into national politics United Front came to power at the centre in 1996 and added that it will repeat in 2019 as well.
