It is known that the AP CID has been going particularly hard against Chandrababu Naidu for the last year or so. They’ve filed multiple cases against Naidu and even managed to keep him in jail for 50+ days in the skill scam case.
However, Naidu was granted relief by the AP High Court after he was allocated anticipatory bail in all the cases that the CID had filed against him. The court order was passed a couple of days ago.
The court asked Chandrababu to submit surety to the CID chief regarding the investigation of all these cases. He was given one week’s time to do so.
Naidu has now decided to be done with the surety task and he will be visiting the CID office today and submit his surety. He will meet the CID investigative officer and submit his surety regarding the multiple cases that were alleged against him by the CID.
Once this is done, Naidu will be a more relieved man as these CID cases which were aimed at troubling him will be done with for the time being. He will fully focus on the election campaigning henceforth.
