Chandrababu Naidu Disappoints the Silicon Valley yet Again

NRIs in the United States will be very much disappointed as the first USA trip of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is postponed for the second time. The trip which is intended to seek investments into the state and also make NRIs adopt villages in AP under the ambitious Smart Village programme, was first planned in 2015.

It was postponed back then due to Chandrababu’s other commitments. And now, the trip was again planned for November. Chandrababu, along with a 12-member delegation, is scheduled to land in the US on November 13 and stay there till November 21 visiting Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and New Jersey

But then it is once again postponed. The CMO asked the NRIs to push the date for Two weeks due to some other commitments. But it can not be honoured as it falls into thanksgiving and holidays season in US. In January, AP is hosting pretigious CII Partnership Summit in Vishakapatnam. Considering this, the CM’s visit is pushed to February or March the next year.
