CBN Donates Own Land For Anna Canteen

Anna Canteen is one of the prestigious implementations of the TDP government while it was in power. They took up the program very seriously as it fed thousands of poor and needy every day across Andhra Pradesh.

Once Jagan came to power, the Anna Canteen was halted abruptly, amongst much backlash from all quarters. Then, TDP decided they should at least carry on the scheme with the party funds and local leadership as it greatly helps the needy.

Now, Chandrababu Naidu has donated his own land for the setting up of an Anna Canteen in his home constituency of Kuppam.

Chandrababu had this 20 cents land near the TDP office in Kuppam and he has donated the same for the construction of Anna Canteen in the area.

The existing Anna Canteen in Kuppam has been serving 500 people per day and this is being operated by the local donors and TDP troops in the area. The land donated by Chandrababu will be used to construct a permanent building and run the operations from here.
