Chandrababu House-Arrested, Govt Use Brute Force on Chalo Atmakur

The State Government is dealing Telugu Desam Party’s Chalo Atmakur Rally with Iron Fist. There is a complete lockdown of the Opposition Leaders in the state preventing the success of the rally. Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu himself is house-arrested which shows the Government is concerned about this Program.

All the former Ministers including Nara Lokesh, the current and former MLAs and MPs, and the Senior Leaders were either house arrested or taken into preventive custody. TDP leaders have sat on the roads at their houses and are protesting against the government which they term as Fascist Rule.

Interestingly, YSR Congress also called for Chalo Atmakur, a counter-rally against TDP but not a single leader of the ruling party is arrested so far. Meanwhile, the Police have stopped the food supply to the camp of those affected by the attacks of the Ruling Party Leaders in Guntur to force them to go back to their homes.

Chandrababu Naidu announced sitting on a 12 hour fast in solidarity to the victims. The fast will continue in his Undavalli Residence itself. On the other side, the Police department has imposed Section 144 in several areas of Palnadu to prevent the local leaders from making any protests.
