Naidu Hurt The Ego of Modi and Shah, Center to Take Over TTD?

Reports are emerging that the Union Government is looking to take over Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam in the pretext of the need to preserve the ancient temples. The World famous temple will be brought under Department of Heritage and Culture.

The reputed Board of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is in high demand, particularly from politicians and industrialists. Besides the pressure from the state leaders, there is an immense pressure from the leaders of the national level to get themselves nominated in the board.

BJP got its people nominated previously when in alliance with TDP but the state government recently refused such recommendations of the Center. So, Modi and Shah want to solve the problem once for all bringing the issue of Heritage Preservation and protecting the funds of the temple.

Moreover, Tirumala is the richest Hindu Temple on the earth and the income from the temple will come handy in the central finances, Delhi people feel. But then such a decision can completely backfire on the Center since the people of the state are very much attached to Tirumala.
