Chandrababu Naidu in Catch 22 situation!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is ambitious to bring as many as investments as possible in the state as it is the only way to improve the finances of the cash strapped state. However Naidu is being cornered by investors in to a Catch 22 situation.

Taking the advantage of Naidu’s hurriedness to bring new projects to the state, they are blackmailing him for more subsides. More incentives will mean that the revenues of the state will also cut down at least for the time being.

Some of the investors, who previously had agreements with the state government, are bargaining for further incentives which is troubling Naidu as well as the state government’s revenue plans. If he refused, neighbouring states are looking to pounce on them.
