Naidu Keeps Up the Word to Nandhyal Electorate

During the prestigious Nandyala by-election, TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu had announced the Chairman of AP Council for Minorities. TDP has won the election sensationally and now Naidu has kept his word. TDP Senior Leader, NMD Farooq is made the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Council.

He is elected unopposed and has taken charge a short while ago. There is no Muslim representation in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet and so this is a balancing act by Naidu. Farooq was a minister in NTR’s regime and also worked as a Deputy Speaker of AP Assembly.

In the same election, Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced one MLC seat to Muslims of Nandhyal. Jagan also mentioned that he will keep up the promise irrespective of the election result. It has to be seen if Jagan keeps up his word.
