Chandrababu Losing Interest In BJP

BJP State Leadership repeatedly claims Chandrababu Naidu is trying his level best to come back into NDA but the gates are forever closed on him. But then, it looks like Naidu himself has started losing interest on BJP and it may become Zero very soon.

It’s true Naidu initially wanted the alliance with BJP because the support of the Central Government would shield the party from Vendetta Politics of YSR Congress. But then, the phase is passing. In an year from now, Andhra Pradesh will be in election mode.

BJP will only be a liability from here. All the recent By-elections indicated that BJP only lost its ground further after 2019 election. Allying with the party means giving it some seats and losing them to YSR Congress. Also BJP will be contesting for the third term in Delhi and will be carrying a reasonable amount of anti-incumbency.

So, Chandrababu is losing interest on BJP. But then, he is still interested in BJP’s ally, Janasena which may come handy in some pockets of Godavari districts where there is a decisive Kapu community population.
