CM Chandrababu Invites PM To Investment Meet

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and invited him to attend the upcoming Investment Summit organised by the state government in collaboration with CII. The summit will take place in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

Naidu met the Prime Minister at his residence and also requested him to be present for the signing of an MoU with Raiden, a Google-associated company. Raiden is set to invest ₹87,500 crore in a data centre project in Visakhapatnam. The MoU will be signed on Tuesday morning in New Delhi.

During the meeting, Chandrababu discussed various state-related issues with the Prime Minister. Ministers Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and Rammohan Naidu accompanied him.

Both the CII Summit and the Raiden deal are key milestones for Andhra Pradesh. The summit aims to attract national and international investments across sectors, while Raiden’s massive investment marks one of the largest data centre projects in India, giving a major boost to the state’s development plans.
