Naidu Mulling Early Elections?

Is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu looking at Early Elections? Will he dissolve the Assembly in March 2018 and will go ahead for elections one year early than expected? These are the big questions doing rounds in political circles right now seeing the hurry with which Chandrababu is executing some important decisions.

We have seen the state government passing the bill for 5% Reservations to Kapu Community and also a bill to include Valmiki and Boya communities in Scheduled Tribes Category. Naidu’s Government is also likely to announce Unemployment Allowance anytime in this week, according to the reliable sources.

Cornering BJP led Central Government right in the Assembly is also a political step, experts feel. They say Naidu may be in a hurry so as not to give the opposition enough time to prepare for the elections and these back to back decisions of the government will also help to create positive mandate from the people.

According to the recent surveys commissioned by Chandrababu Naidu, the Opposition Party, YSR Congress is in absolute shambles and cannot compete with TDP in more than 40 constituencies. So, Naidu feels it is the right time to go to the election and get another term from the people.
