CBN, Lokesh Met Prashant Kishor In Kolkata?

Deccan Chronicle has published a scoop about Prashant Kishor likely to onboard Telugu Desam Party as a consultant for the upcoming elections. These rumors are doing rounds ever since 2021.

The report says West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has facilitated this. The report also says that Chandrababu Naidu met PK once in Kolkata and later his son, Nara Lokesh along with Abhishek Banarjee met him again in the same city.

Abhishek Banerjee is the nephew of Mamata Banerjee and is a Lok Sabha MP. He is also the General Secretary of the Trinamool Congress.

There are further rounds of meetings as well between TDP top brass and Prashant Kishor. The News Report says the talks have reached an advanced stage and may fructify soon into a formal relationship.

It is interesting to note that PK played an instrumental role in bringing Jagan Mohan Reddy to power in Andhra Pradesh in 2019. His I-PAC still handles election and communication strategy for YSR Congress.

Previously, I-PAC denied such reports of working for TDP.

The report says Mamata is helping Naidu with the intention of bringing TDP into the INDIA alliance of the Opposition.
