This is the first the Prime Minister is interested to come to Andhra Pradesh and his proposal assumes significance in the wake of the ongoing agitation in the state over the center’s meager assistance and sparse allocations in the recent budget.

But then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is worried about the proposal as the last time, the Prime Minister only gave Matti-Neeru for Amaravati. TDP government will also have to share the anger if the same happens once again.

Chandrababu has instructed his Union Ministers to reach out to the center and get concrete promises and only then, will extend the official invitation for the Prime Minister. In all probability, the Prime Minister’s visit will be before the budget session begins.
