CBN’s Quash Judgment Before December 12th?

It is known that Chandrababu Naidu had filed a quash petition at the Supreme Court to dispose off the multiple cases that were filed against him by the AP CID. The verdict on the quash petition has been put on reserve and it has been that way since 17 October.

Now, Naidu’s anticipatory bail in AP Fiber Grid case has come to a hearing at the apex court. Incidentally, the Supreme Court adjourned the next hearing on the case to 12 December.

The fact that the Apex Court bench, chaired by Justice Anirudha Bose and Justice Bela M Trivedi, who had already reserved the judgement on the quash petition has now sat for fiber grid bail and adjourned the case to 12 December could well mean that the verdict on quash petition will be out before 12 Dec.

The court had previously stated that they would assess the fiber grid early bail petition only after the verdict on the quash petition is out. This is because if the quash petition is passed, the whole case will be struck down with no need for bail.

Now that the court adjourned the hearing on fiber grid case till 12 December would mean that the verdict on the decisive quash petition could be out before this date.
