Chandrababu Receives Guinness World Record

At 5th International Kuchipudi Dance convention conducted by AP government yesterday at Vijayawada, Kuchipudi, the classical dance form performed by 6,117 dancers have been recognized as a new record of Guinness World Record.

Kuchipudi the classical dance form of Andhra has a record in Guinness earlier and this record is an addition to the honor of Andhra Pradesh. CM Chandrababu has been handed over the certificate of record at the event.

Venkaiah Naidu, one of the chief guests at the event said that such events promote the culture of the state and extraordinary dance form in the world dance history and Indians, especially Telugu people should be proud of the fact as Kuchipudi was originated in this place and all should do everything to promote and preserve this beautiful form of dance.

Chandra Babu Naidu stated that the government is going to pay 12,000 rupees per month per guru to make more Kuchipudi dancers to elevate the state originated dance form.
