Until now, the states are worrying about the funds they will lose due to the 2001 census criteria which is going to be adopted by 15th Finance Commission. The southern States which have taken effective steps for Population Control back then will be on losing side.

Naidu went to on to say due to the same criteria, the number of Parliament Seats of the Southern States may decrease in a ploy to make them politically irrelevant in the national scenario. This revelation of Naidu is spreading like a wildfire and may create more problems for the Central Government which is behaving as if it is the government of only the North.
