Naidu to Start Hunting for His Placard of 2019?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has done reasonably well in his tenure so far despite the hurdles posed by the Central Government and is gearing up to go to the elections in 2019 all alone. The Chief Minister is now looking for one big achievement which will be his Placard for 2019 Elections.

Even though, Pattiseema is that one achievement. It is seen as a temporary project and so Naidu wants to ensure that water is given through Polavaram. The Central Government has intelligently wasted two months of time at the crucial juncture of the project and that has interrupted the project target of completing by 2019 elections.

But then, a very ambitious man Naidu is keen to complete the project whatever it takes. With the completion of the Diaphragm wall construction, the main dam and Coffer Dam are to be completed. Needless to say, Naidu will put himself 200% to ensure the completion well before the elections.

Political Analysts feel that the victory of TDP will be certain if Naidu manages to complete Polavaram. The Multi-Purpose Irrigation Project comes with a total capacity of 194 TMC which will irrigate about Five Lakh Acres over Two Crops Every year. The Project will also generate 960MW of Hydel Power which is the cheapest available power in the market right now. Hence the project is said to be very beneficial for the state and is treated as the ‘Life Line’.
