Naidu to take over ill-gotten properties of Jagan!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is of late telling that Sakshi is the property of the state and will be taken over very soon. This is no hollow comment, the state government is seriously mulling over the decision to take over the assets of Jagati Publications, Janani Infra and a few other firms belonging to Opposition leader, that were attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Andhra Pradesh Assembly recently brought out the AP Special Courts Act, 2015, to confiscate the ‘ill-gotten’ properties. The act was passed in the Assembly and also passed the scrutiny of the Union home and law ministries. Only the Presidential assent is pending. Similar acts do exist in Bihar and Odisha.

As much as 43000 Crore corruption money is involved in just Jagan’s cases. Once the act is cleared, the state government will be forming special courts to speed up the confiscation process. It is believed that Jagan took this issue to the notice of President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh.
