This case came to hearing on 19 September and as it appears, CBN’s counsel – Harish Salve and Siddharth Luthra had made a series of compelling arguments against Naidu getting charged in the whole case.
They fiercely fought to get the judge to understand the facts of the case and how the CID went out of its way to get Naidu arrested.
The court completed the hearing and reserved the judgement for today, 21 September and TDP was hopeful that their chief might be set free from the case and walk out of jail.
However, the latest updates are suggesting that the high court has adjourned the quash petition. The announcement of the judgement has been pushed to 25 September, it seems.
There’s no official confirmation for now, but we are hearing that the case could get pushed to 25 September for judgment.
In the case, the wait continues further for TDP troops and Naidu himself. With the arguments and hearing completed on 19th itself, everyone expected the reserved judgement to arrive today but that didn’t happen.
