Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan held a one-on-one meeting that lasted for nearly 2.5 hours. The discussion focused on the changing political situation in the state.
Over the past few days, several developments in Andhra Pradesh have left citizens shocked and unsettled. These events have reportedly created a fear factor among sections of the public.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed the rise of caste-based politics in the state. They reportedly felt that such developments were being instigated by the YSR Congress Party and needed to be curbed.
The two leaders spoke about ways to prevent citizens and party cadre from falling into what they described as YSRCP’s political trap. Strategies were discussed to stabilise the situation and reduce tensions.
Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan also deliberated on internal issues within the alliance. It is said they took decisions to control infighting among lower-rung cadre, which they believe was being fuelled deliberately.
Another important topic of discussion was the upcoming vacancies in the Rajya Sabha. The leaders discussed plans related to the four seats that are expected to fall vacant soon.
They also reviewed the process of filling nominated posts. The meeting is being seen as a crucial coordination effort between the two top leaders amid ongoing political developments in Andhra Pradesh.
