Chandrababu rolls red carpet for 137 IT companies!

Andhra Pradesh government seem to have shifted its focus on bringing IT investments in to the truncated state. The government very recently had written letters to 137 companies in the country to come forward and invest in the state. Wipro, L&T, HCL, Microsoft, Sonata were some of the companies that were invited.

Government sources say they have received some good initial response from few companies and will take up the talks very soon. The letter boasts of the best IT policy ever in the country. The various incentives and subsidies provided to IT companies are explained too. waiver of Stamp duty and VAT, Power Subsidy and Recruitment assistance is promised to the IT investors.

The state government also reminded the investors that they will be having hassle free environment here with the 21 days Single window clearance system under which all the permissions will be given in 21 working days itself. The state government targets creating 5 Lakh IT jobs in the next five years.
