Exit of Senior leaders Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Teegala Krishna Reddy has come as a shock for Chandrababu Naidu ahead of GHMC elections next year. While Teegala is no such influential leader, Talasani definitely will make a difference with his mass following and money power. He is also TDP’s GHMC President. With the exit of Talasani, Chandrababu now has brought in his arch rival, Krishna Yadav back to the helm of GHMC affairs. Krishna Yadav who also belong to the same Yadav community as Talasani and is match-able to him in mass following and money.
Krishna Yadav was first elected as TDP MLA in 1994 and also worked as a minister in subsequent Chandrababu’s government. He had to quit the party with the allegations in Fake Stamp Papers scam and recently made a comeback to the party. His position will consolidate in the party if he manages to steer the party well in the upcoming elections.
