Chandrababu’s clarification to Hinduja Power!

Andhra Pradesh government has given clarification to Hinduja Power Plant officials regarding the PPA for the 1020MW Power produced in the plant. The Chief Minister had clarified that Hinduja has to give the 100% Power to Andhra Pradesh and it is up to the state to use the power or sell it to other states.

The company requested government to allow them to sell power to third parties when there is no demand in AP to which Chandrababu refused. The state government has asked Hinduja to come for making a PPA on those lines.

One unit of Power from this plant is expected to be supplied at 3.49 Rupees. The PPA between the state government and Hinduja Power Plant is expected to take place on 31st of this month. It is known that Telangana is also demanding a share in the power of this plant and AP is refusing and is offering only a share in the equity for Telangana’s investment.
