Chandrababu’s fair deal to KCR on Power!

Telangana government which is Power-strapped is using Srisailam Project as its rescuer. Since the last one year, Telangana government is pumping water out of the reservoir to produce Hydro Power as and when required. This approach is emptying the reservoir and is making drinking water scarce for Rayalaseema and some districts of Telangana in Summer.

Telangana government never really cared for future use and generated power as and when required. Due to this approach, already the water limits in Srisailam reservoir are curbed and drinking water scarcity is hitting Rayalaseema and lower districts of Telangana. To avoid this situation in future, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had offered a fair deal.

With a promise from KCR regarding not to misuse water in Srisailam, Babu offered Telangana Power at the same rate which Hydro Power of Srisailam costs. This will be a loss deal for AP as Thermal power is more costly than Hydro Power but Chandrababu offered it to prevent water wastage. Lets hope KCR agrees to that with out any egos!
