Change of Guard in Telangana BJP?

If the rumors in BJP Circles are to be believed, BJP High Command is very displeased about the leadership of the party in Telangana. Dr. K. Lakshman is unable to inspire the party cadre and leaders, the high command believes and is going for a change.

We are told that the Party’s National General Secretary, P Muralidhar Rao may be sent to the state and will be replacing Lakshman as the Party President. BJP had pinned high hopes on putting up a great show in Telangana in 2019 elections where there is a vacuum in the opposition space.

Amit Shah believes that it can not be achieved under Lakshman’s leadership. 2019 elections are just two years but BJP is very far from the target. This will be the second change in the state BJP leadership post-2014 elections.
