For a Change, KCR Offers Hand of Friendship to Naidu

Brijesh Kumar Tribunal the other day has confirmed that the water sharing will only happen between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the allocation of other states will not be touched. This comes as a big blow for Telangana which is expecting a bigger share in the reallocation. Back then, during agitation days, KCR used to allege that United State governments failed to put up proper arguments before the Tribunal.

But now even Telangana Counsels failed to convince the Tribunal. After this setback, Telangana government is planning to approach the Supreme Court over Brijesh Kumar Tribunal’s verdict. Telangana Cabinet the other day held consultations with Advocate General and Irrigation Advisor on this verdict and future course of action.

It is said that Telangana government is planning to join hands with Andhra Pradesh government over the reallocation. Andhra Pradesh government sources say it will consider positively if Telangana government approaches it. In such case, this is the first step from Telangana to fight for the common good of Telugu people.
