CBN serious, China engineers arrive for fit & trail run

Five Engineers from China arrived at Pattiseema Project to fit the four motors that were brought from the country. They will be staying here until the four motors were fit and the trial run is conducted. They have already started work on the first motor on Sunday.

Given the breach in Polavaram right canal, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is serious about that and asked to check the entire canal length to rectify any such mistakes. The repair works are currently going on at the breach. Engineers say such minor issues are normal with the new canals and such mistakes will surface in operations and then they have to be recitified. They say it is quite common with all the projects.

There are total 24 motor pumps for Pattiseema project. The government targets to complete the works by March next year and give Godavari water to Krishna delta for the next crop season. Krishna delta’s allocation in Srisailam project will be given to Rayalaseema via Pothireddypadu head regulator.
