While the news may be right or wrong, the immediate effect will be on the party’s poll prospects in Tirupati bielection. The party had fielded a candidate in the bielection keeping aside the tradition that parties do not contest bielection if it is necessitated by the death of a sitting MLA and his kin is contesting. The party is eager to win the election and send its sole representation to the Assembly.
