Naidu’s AP medicine to Telangana loss?

Back to back defections in Telangana TDP are hitting the party a lot there and it is no exaggeration to say the party is on a ventilator there. TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is trying to repair the damage with AP medicine.

Chandrababu reportedly gave green signal to defections from YSR Congress in AP. vijayawada West MLA, Jaleel Khan met Chandrababu a short while ago in Vijayawada and he is said to be negotiating a deal with the ruling party. Sources say that significant number of YSR Congress MLAs from Prakasam, Krishna, Nellore and Guntur districts are said to be interested in joining the ruling party.

Naidu wants to infuse these MLAs before the budget session itself. The party is negotiating with the local leaders to ensure smooth transition. Naidu probably is trying to send signals that the party is strong despite what is happening in Telangana. This move is likely to infuse confidence in left over leaders of Telangana, Naidu hopes.
