CID Books Case On Alla Ramakrishna Reddy

A case has been filed against ex MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy regarding the attack on TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri on October 19, 2021.

The CID officials named Alla as the 127 accused in the list. The attack happened during the previous YSRCP government’s term.

Immediately after the alliance government came to power, they handed over the case to CID. The attack is said to have been carried out under the supervision of MLC Lella Appireddy, Talasila Raghuram, ex Bapatla MP Nandigama Suresh and Vijayawada East YCP in-charge Devineni Avinash. They received instructions from the top leaders of YSRCP, it is said.

Apart from many YSRCP leaders, many rowdy sheeters and women were part of the attack. They felled the main gate forcefully and entered the premises and tried to attack people inside the office.

They destroyed vehicles and equipment with stones, rods and sticks. After causing havoc for more than half an hour, they left the place. At the time, complaints were lodged with Mangalagiri police.

However, since YSRCP was in power, they were set aside. In turn, SC, ST Atrocities cases were filed on TDP leaders.
