CID Raids Likely on Chandrababu Naidu?

APCID has been raiding the residences and offices of Former Minister P Narayana in Hyderabad since this morning. This has come a day after the Minister was served notices by the CID in an SC, ST atrocities case filed by YSRCP MLA, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy.

Narayana was not in his residence yesterday and today when the police have come. His wife, Rama Devi received the notices on his behalf. He was asked to come to the Regional CID office in Vijayawada on the 22nd of this month at 11 AM.

Narayana is one of the accused in the case registered under Section 120 B (conspiracy) and Sections 166, 167, and 217 of the IPC read with Prohibition of Assigned Lands Alienation Act of 1977 and the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.

He was the Municipal Minister during the TDP regime and oversaw the land pooling and capital construction back then. There are rumors that similar raids may happen on Chandrababu Naidu’s residences and offices in Vijayawada and Hyderabad as well.
