Come 2016, boat parties in Amaravati

Coming New year every one will see the arrival of boathouses and pubs on jetties in Krishna river. Champion Yacht Club is coming up with an investment of 120 Crore and will be operational in December. Already the first yacht is being build on the riverbank near Prakasam barrage.

Yachts that can accommodate a total of 200 passengers each, a 300-member capacity boathouse, adventure sports, including winch parasailing, a pub with dance floor and eco-leisure activities are likely to ferry between Vijayawada and Amaravati from May 2016.

The 120-crore project includes two luxury yachts, 214 floating cottages around the island and a floating restaurant. They are also planning a pub which will be operational from next month. CYC is mainly targeting the foreigners who will arrive for Amaravati construction.
