Common Man hits Modi where it hurts most!

Common Man, the Aam Admi of Delhi had hit the ruling BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi very hard. Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Admi Party registered a sensational victory in Delhi elections by a virtual clean sweep (Leading in 62 out of 70). This victory will turn even sweet for the Muffler Man as it comes after more than an year long insults and hard work.

BJP tried all tricks in the trade to win Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigned rigorosly in the election what is normally a defacto Municipal election. They brought Kiran Bedi as their CM candidate in the last minute who is a popular figure across the nation. All the last minute hungama of BJP on AAP – Kejriwal’s non local status, Hawala at midnight did not have any effect on voters.

BJP has got majority in 60 out of the 70 Delhi seats in Parliament elections few months ago but is now struggling to get the opposition status (7 seats required).This defeat of BJP will prove to be good for the nation and democracy as well. It is definitely not a rejection of Modi but this defeat will apply brakes to his speed and the over confidence of being invincible.
