Congress Breaching Harish Rao’s Fortress Siddipet

Of late, we are seeing many BRS leaders jumping into Congress. However, things seemed to be smooth in BRS’s fortress, joint Medak district. But looks like Congress is breaching the fortress.

Siddipet is one of the biggest strongholds of BRS. Harish Rao, one of the strongest BRS leaders, has been MLA of Siddipet for the last 20 years. Generally, we don’t see many leaders from other parties in this city and the constituency.

But things started changing after Congress came into power a few months ago. According to the latest reports, three municipal councillors in Siddipet have shifted to Congress.

A few more are expected to join in the coming days and apparently, they are planning to move a no-confidence motion against the BRS municipal chairman.

Meanwhile, Harish Rao and co. are trying to convince the councillors and are trying to shift them to Goa for negotiations.
