With Congress high command going one sided in state bifurcation issue and totally ignoring Seema Andhra, Central Ministers of the region, Chiranjeevi, Purandhareeswari, Pallam Raju, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and Kavuri Samba Siva Rao met Advani and requested him not to allow the Telangana bill pass with out discussion or amendments.
They reportedly asked the Veteran leader to help in safeguarding the interests of Seema Andhra regions. It is said that Advani responded in positive. This move of the Union Ministers is highly embarrassing to the Congress led UPA Government.
