Congress stages Dharna in Parliament for AP!

Looks like Congress party is keen to milk the Andhra Pradesh Special Status issue as much as possible in this Parliament session. The MPs of the Congress party which includes those from other states staged a dharna in parliament premises a short while ago demanding that Center should fulfill all the promises made to Andhra Pradesh which diving the state.

AICC Principal Secretary Digvijay Singh is leading this dharma. AP PCC President Raghuveera Reddy, MPs JD Seelam, Jairam Ramesh, KVP, Subbaramireddy and Ex-Ministers C.Ramachandraiah, Sailajanath, Kondru Murali, Ex-MPs Bapiraju, Chintamohan and others also participated in this dharna.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi did not participate in the dharna as of now. May be they will join later. It is already known to our readers that Sonia had written a letter to the Prime Minister regarding Special Status few days ago and also demanded that they should include the commitments to Andhra Pradesh in President’s speech.
