Congress to name Nandan Nilekani as PM candidate!

National media is abuzz with the news that former Infosys CEO and UDAI chairman and the man behind Aadhaar: Nandan Nilekani is all set to be Congress Party’s Prime Minister candidate for upcoming General Elections. They say Sonia Gandhi feels that it is not right time for Rahul Gandhi to foray and is seriously considering Nandan who holds good regard of having clean image with educated back ground.

Congress is hoping that Nilekani’s elevation will increase their image in young and educated voters like that of Aam Admi Party in Delhi and eventually that would propel them in to power. However, after official declaration, this could create rifts within the party as leaders like Chidambaram, AK Anthony and Shinde will be hugely disappointed. However before that all these news are just mere speculations.
